At Complete Cricket we have highly experienced coaches.
Our Coaches
Grant Lambert – Director of Coaching
Grant’s record as a player speaks for itself. Not only did he represent NSW 56 times in all formats, he also holds the record for most runs in a Sydney 1st Grade Cricket season with 1527. Grant also has the distinction of being the only player in the competition’s history to have scored 11,000 runs and taken 600 wickets.
A certified Level 3 CA Coach and Director of Coaching at Complete Cricket, Grant is also busy working with Sydney University Grade Club, Cricket NSW Junior Representative Squads and The Hills Sports High School to develop the next batch of Australian cricketers.
Grant’s passion for the game shines through in his coaching and has already fostered significant results with his existing private coaching clients.
Mitchell Yearsley
Mitchell spent 15 years with the Fairfield Liverpool Grade Cricket Club as a left arm spinner and top order batsman. In this time he captained the clubs AW Green Shield, Poidevin Gray Shield and 2nd Grade teams as well as being selected to play 1st Grade.
Mitchell also coached the Fairfield AW Green Shield Side and worked at Cricket NSW as a Development Officer visiting and running programs in Primary Schools. He has spent invaluable time working with Fairfield club legends like Grant, Ben Rohrer and Doug Bollinger to further expand his knowledge base and coaching techniques which he is looking forward to implementing at Complete Cricket.
Luke Doran
Luke has recently returned to Sydney after 5 years in Tasmania and we are delighted to have him onboard. A former U/19 World Cup winner, Luke also represented NSW, Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers as a left arm spinner and handy batsmen and has slotted straight back in at Fairfield-Liverpool as the AW Green Shield and Assistant Club Coach as well as captaining their 3rd Grade side.
When he isn’t busy coaching you can find him supplying a great range of gear as the Sydney Franchisee for Icon Sports so hit him up for a great deal and tell him we sent you!
Lisa Griffith
Hailing from Bathurst, LG joined us recently and juggles coaching at the centre with her playing commitments at the NSW Breakers (where she was recently named captain), the Sydney Thunder in the WBBL, the Otago Sparks in the NZ Super Smash as well as other coaching commitments with the Western Zone Emerging Breakers.
With numbers growing so rapidly in the women’s game (and in girls we see at the centre) we are very happy to have a person and coach of LG’s quality in our own ranks.
Dan Miles
Having recently made the permanent move to Australia from the UK after 4 years travelling here with the International Cricketers Programme as both a player and then coach we are very happy to add some British flavour to the roster.
A level II ECB coach Dan has worked extensively as a private coach, with elite academies at Normandy Cricket Club in Surrey and at the prestigious Wellington College in England and now joins us at both the training centre and working with The Hills Sports High School.
Hayden Goulstone
A Hills Sports High School graduate and recent winner with NSW in the U/19 National Championships, Hayden plies his trade with Parramatta in the Sydney Grade Competition. A talented allrounder Hayden is an old head on young shoulders with a passion for, and knowledge of the game beyond his years. Whilst his playing career continues to develop so will his coaching under the expert tutelage of Director of Coaching Grant Lambert.
